Day 2 in VN was another adventure.  We left the hotel at 7:30 to get to the Mekong Delta area callled My Tho (60 kilometers South East of SG).  Knowing that time was an issue, we stopped at Nhu Lan Deli on Ham Nghi Street to get snacks and lunches (the big part of the experience involving foods, lol...).  About less than 2 hours, we arrived at the pier in My Tho city where we were greeted by Ms. Hoa who took us across the river to Phoenix Island.  The group carried a few boxes of stuffed animals and clothes to give the kids on the island and everyone (adults and kids) loved what we had.   We wished we had more stuffed animals to give.
We were back in SG by 2:30 exhausted but happy.  For dinner,  we went to a BBQ place called Bay No where you cooked your own meat and sampled variety of meat selections such as beef, eel, rabbit, ostrich, frog, horse, crocodile, veal, squid, goat, and more....Oh, I forgot to mention that we celebrated Sarah's 18th birthday with a delicious french cake at the restaurant, of course.
After a long and amazing dinner, we went to the night  Ben Thanh market where the girls went shopping (Tate decided to skip, lol)....
Today (day 3), we are going to head North to another orphanage and have more fun at Mango Garden.  Stay tune for more comments and pictures.
